FEED THE FRONTLINES INITIATIVE

Santa Clara County was the epicenter for COVID-19 in California. During this time, many of our food service workers lost their businesses and their jobs due to lack of available work. Meanwhile, our frontline healthcare and community workers toiled (and are still toiling) day and night fighting this pandemic.

Through Moveable's Feed the Frontlines GoFundMe, each tax deductible $10 donation provides one packaged “no contact” meal made by Moveable food trucks for a local healthcare worker. Not only will this continue to help fortify the frontline, but also it also helps uplift food service workers, many of whom lack the resources to ride out this ongoing unprecedented public health crisis. This is our original fundraising effort.

WITH THE COMMUNITY'S HELP, WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FEED

OUR TEAM

San Jose Parks Foundation is our non-profit fiscal agent, dedicated to public activation. They have collaborated with us, Moveable Feast the leading food truck catering and events company in Silicon Valley, to launch our Feed The Frontlines Initiative.

American Leadership Forum is a network of leaders committed to serving the common good in Silicon Valley, providing free meals for frontline non-profits staff and volunteers who serve the most vulnerable in our community.

Community Meal Initiative is a collaboration of local small businesses spear-headed by worker cooperative A Slice of New York. They provide nutritious meals made by local small businesses for hospital ER teams and at-risk families.
