Based in San José, CA and founded in 2011 as Moveable Feast–a street food festivals and food truck catering company–Moveable has since evolved into a full-stack events, experiences & marketing company featuring a diverse portfolio of consulting services and self-produced projects.
OUR STORY
Our core business remains our food & beverage services, leveraging our network of high-quality Bay Area based food trucks and chefs for pop-ups, events, corporate meal services and catering. However, we are so much more.
We create and sustain public life through community-first placekeeping (our version of the commonly known practice of placemaking) powered by our multidisciplinary team of storytellers, urban planners, producers and artists.
We provide smart, tactical, growth-intensive social media marketing services leveraging our experiences growing our own social media followings to the tens of thousands.
We cultivate unique creative retail experiences through our acquisition of significant local brand San José Made.
We partner with over 1,500 makers, artists, designers, chefs, musicians, organizers, doers, thinkers and entrepreneurs for programming and events that regularly attract over 1 million attendees annually spanning from South San Francisco to Gilroy and everywhere in between.
In other words, what started as a food truck company has now evolved into a “food trucks and so much more” company.
OUR TEAM
We are a small, talented and driven team comprised of kind, curious and imaginative thinkers. We were founded by people born and raised in San José, California and our overall team is powered by people who have lived in and have loved San José and the Bay Area for many, many, many years.
Everyone on our team thrives on the opportunities to do high-level creative visioning as equally as they enjoy rolling up their sleeves to help bring those creative visions to life. We are multidisciplinary in our approach to our projects as well as our approach to the work we do.
We have extensive experience and expertise in activating public spaces, amplifying communities and bringing large local audiences to these public spaces here in San José and the Bay Area. Combining this with our significant network of over 1,500 creative small businesses, artists, designers, doers and thinkers in the Bay Area means we are perfectly positioned to create locally meaningful, locally dynamic and locally empathetic projects.
