Moveable offers event organizers a low cost to potentially "no cost" way to bring a diverse selection of the Bay Area's best street food trucks to their event(s).

TWO OPTIONS FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS

Driven by our own experiences as event organizers, we've crafted the two options below specifically with the needs and goals of event organizers in mind.

PROFIT POTENTIAL OPTION
  • Event organizer pays Moveable an upfront fee based on a per truck rate based on the size of the event, type of event, location of the event and duration of the event.
  • Moveable handles all food truck coordination, including but not limited to recruitment, scheduling, health permits, fire safety, zero waste management and insurance.
  • The day(s) of the event, Moveable will collect fees from the food trucks (usually a base fee plus a percentage of sales) and, after the event, Moveable will transfer these payouts to the event organizer.
  • In most cases, the fees Moveable has collected has exceeded the upfront fee the organizer paid Moveable meaning not only did the event organizers get a diverse selection of high-quality food trucks for their event but they were also able to generate a profit from having the trucks without having to do any of the coordination work.
MINIMUM SALES OPTION
  • Event organizer agrees to a minimum sales guarantee for each truck at the event. The minimum sales guarantee is based on the size of the event, the type of event, location of the event and duration of the event. No upfront payment is required.
  • Moveable handles all food truck coordination, including but not limited to recruitment, scheduling, health permits, fire safety, zero waste management and insurance.
  • The day(s) of the event, Moveable will collect sales data from each food truck. If the food truck’s sales match or exceed the minimum sales guarantee, the event organizer does not have to pay anything. If the food truck’s sales falls short of the minimum sales guarantee, the event organizer will have to pay the difference between the agreed-upon minimum AND the food truck’s actual sales.
  • In most cases, the event organizer will not end up having to pay anything for this service. In the early process of determining the minimum sales guarantee and the quantity of trucks involved, we work to figure out the best solution for the event organizer and the best situation for the food truck(s).
